Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide is a fictional character from the television series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He is a tuition teacher who runs Bhide Coaching Classes from his home in Gokuldham Society, where he also serves as the secretary. Bhide lives with his wife, Madhavi, and their daughter, Sonalika, affectionately known as Sonu. The character was created by Asit Kumarr Modi and portrayed by Mandar Chandwadkar.

Bhide is a strict schoolteacher known for his unique quirks and memorable catchphrase "Hamare Zamane Mein."

Development

Mandar Chandwadkar, who portrays the role, faced eight years of struggle before securing the part in 2008. Originally a mechanical engineer in Dubai, he left his job in 2000 to pursue his passion for acting in India.
